Figurative Artist.

Donna Grace Kroh (b. Pennsylvania) is a Philadelphia-based, first-generation Congolese-American artist whose practice centers on figuration as a means of exploring identity, memory, and belonging. Working in layered combinations of paint, graphite, and cobalt, Kroh constructs visual narratives that merge the psychological and the ancestral- reflecting on her upbringing in rural Pennsylvania and the complexities of diasporic heritage. Through her meticulous attention to surface and gesture, she invites viewers into moments of quiet intimacy and introspection.

Kroh has been featured in the podcast Ologies, The Philadelphia Inquirer, NPR, and ABC News.
